CAMPERS AGES 5 TO 15

   Our goal is to give each child individual attention. OUR GOAL IS TO MAXIMIZE RIDING TIME! THERE WILL BE A MINIMUN OF 2 HOURS RIDING TIME EACH DAY. STUDENTS WILL WORK, ON AND OFF, THE HORSES, AND LEARN HORSEMANSHIP. Our goal is to give each student an idea of what if means to own their own horse.

Each week our camp will focus on 10 to 14 students. Students will learn a variety of horsemanship skills:   Everyone will have a great time (and come home dirty).   We will maximize the time spent with the horses. Students will learn how to ride a horse, and depending on their individual experience- training will be given accordingly.

   Kids will bring lunch each day, except Friday.   Pizza and drinks will be provided. Everyday is snowcone day this hot summer.

2.  Horse Anatomy (basics).

3.  Grooming.

4.  Tacking

5.  Riding.

6.  Mucking stalls.

8.  Bathing the horses.

9.  Cleaning tack.

Camps will include other fun activities!

Camps will run Monday through Friday. (9:15 a.m. 3:00 p.m.)

My favorite horses were Dinah, sundance, Misty, and Mudd Muffin. Mudd was super fun to ride. I had a lot of fun painting an horse. This was the best camp in the world. (Jill has the most pretty horse, "Sundance"). Katie 8 yrs old.

I liked this camp because I love to ride the horse Remy and the horse Dinah. Also I liked my shirt with Dinah and me Samatha. I also liked meeting all my friends. Samatha 9 yrs old.

I liked camp because I got to run around in the manure and get sprayed by a real life firehose-then I rolled in the arena. I liked showing everyone I could post. I'll be back. (Fuzzy has been taking lessons for quite a while). Fuzzy-8 yrs. old.

My favorite part of camp was when Fuzzy, Sereena, Katie and I got to roll around in the arena. Jill Sprayed us with the hose and we had a manure fight! Spohie 9 yrs old.

My favorite horse is Kidd. He is sooooo special that he is almost a unicorn, if he was a unicorn he wouldn't be any more special. That's how special Kidd is already. Tova. (13yrs).

My favorite horse is Mac. I liked riding Mac. I would like to come back to take a lesson. Sanzhina. (10 yrs).

Camp was so fun! I loved being able to interact with all of the horses, getting to know all of their wonderful personalities.
